Then become a timber expert of the future by training as a

Woodworking Technician

at Holzwerk Obermeier in Schwindegg.
In order for trees to be turned into sustainable timber products, they must first be processed into planks, battens or timber panels. And that is precisely the job of woodworking mechanics.

With us, you’ll have the opportunity to learn all about these areas during a three-year apprenticeship across our various production departments. Your training will take place both in-house and at the vocational school in Rosenheim, which you’ll attend six times a year for 2–3 weeks at a time.

Once you have passed the assessment and been deemed suitable, you can choose where you would like to be based following your guaranteed offer of employment.

Duration:                       3 years (Shortening possible)

Practical training:      You’ll be touring the sawmill and all the other production departments at the Obermeier timber works                                           in Schwindegg

Vocational school:    Block lessons at State Vocational School I in Rosenheim
