Industrial Mechanic / Plant Mechanic (m/f/d) for our ‘Technical Maintenance’ department

Your responsibilities:

• Maintenance and repair of our diverse range of machinery – from modern high-tech systems to robust, long-lasting existing machines
• Maintenance of technical building services
• Set-up, commissioning and optimisation of machines and systems
• Manufacture of spare parts
• Independent organisation of your daily tasks in close coordination with the team
• Contributing to exciting new projects involving new machinery, plant and production processes

What you bring to the role:

• Completed apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic, industrial fitter or equivalent qualification
• Ideally, experience in the maintenance of machinery in the timber or manufacturing industry
• Welding skills – an advantage, but not essential!
• Technical understanding and a structured, solution-oriented approach to work
• Forklift licence/driving licence an advantage
• Team spirit, initiative and willingness to work a two-shift rota
